ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

We’re looking for a talented Human Resources Coordinator with high attention to detail and desire to work in a collaborative environment to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting administrative functions of Talent Acquisition, as well as providing general assistance to the Human Resources Department. The position will partner with hiring managers across the organization and be responsible for pre-employment life cycle. Ideal candidate would live in the Southern California region near Orange County or able to travel to that area at least once per year.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with hiring managers to create, manage, and maintain requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business and patient-care priorities.
  • Post open positions to internal and external job boards to attract high-quality, mission-aligned candidates who are motivated to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
  • Review and screen resumes with attention to detail and sound judgment to identify candidates who align with role requirements, cultural values, and long-term organizational needs.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, interest, and overall fit, delivering a professional and respectful candidate experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule interview screenings in close collaboration with hiring managers and candidates, supporting timely and efficient hiring outcomes.
  • Provide timely interview updates, insights, and status reports to the Human Resources Specialist, demonstrating accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Initiate and monitor pre-employment background checks, ensuring completion in accordance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical hiring practices.
  • Communicate promptly with candidates following interviews regarding next steps and outcomes, reinforcing a positive, transparent, and engaging candidate experience.
  • Coordinate start dates and onboarding logistics with hiring managers and Human Resources to support a smooth transition and early engagement for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the ATS, supporting data integrity, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
  • Support compliance with employment laws, company policies, and hiring procedures, upholding integrity, confidentiality, and quality in all recruitment activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Human Resources and Talent Acquisition initiatives, contributing collaboratively to team goals and organizational success.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

 

Education:

  • Associates degree or one+ years of equivalent experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or HR certification, preferred. 

Experience:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
  • Previous Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience is preferred.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a quality-focused mindset that supports accurate, compliant, and patient-impacting hiring decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort navigating applicant tracking systems to support efficient, transparent recruiting workflows.
  • Experience coordinating interviews and managing hiring processes with precision, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and curiosity in responding to changing business needs, with a willingness to embrace new tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Customer-service–oriented approach, focused on delivering a positive, respectful experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical judgment, and compliance, with a foundational understanding of employment laws, hiring practices, and HR standards.
  • Exposure to or experience with full-cycle recruiting, including candidate screening and coordination with hiring managers, in support of high-quality talent outcomes.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with the ability to partner effectively across Human Resources and the broader organization.
  • Learning-oriented demeanor and interest in long-term growth within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition, aligned with continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Willingness and flexibility to provide backup support to the Human Resources Specialist as needed, contributing to team success and shared accountability.

The compensation package includes:

  • Hourly rate of $28.64/hr-$33.65/hr
  • Discretionary bonus
