ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

We’re looking for an experienced, strategic Sr. Manager, HR Operations & Strategy to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key member of the HR leadership team, responsible for driving the execution of strategic initiatives and optimizing the effectiveness of HR operations. This role acts as the connective link between strategic planning and operational delivery—ensuring HR programs and strategic HR operations initiatives are executed with precision, consistency, and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • In close partnership with the Sr. Director of HR, lead and coordinate execution of HR strategic initiatives including total rewards optimization, culture programs, leadership training, and other key HR operations priorities, as needed.
  • Translate HR strategic goals into project plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Track progress and maintain timely communications with HR and organizational leaders.
  • Streamline and document HR workflows, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across functions.
  • Partner with HR team members to lead projects relating to enhancements of data integrity, automation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Advise on development/optimization of HR data management projects, such as HR dashboards and reports (headcount, turnover, engagement, pay equity), and help lead HR team members to support those efforts.
  • Ensure data-driven recommendations guide decisions on talent, compensation, and engagement.
  • Coordinate change management and communication plans for HR initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration on key HR strategies across HR and other cross functional departments.
  • Assist with developing and executing leadership HR training.
  • Help embed HR’s values and strategic goals into company-wide programs through coordination of projects and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a right-hand to the Sr. Director of HR, providing execution capacity and operational oversight.
  • Provides support and guidance for Sr. HR Manager, including coverage of oversight to HR team members in Sr. Manager’s absence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 10 years of progressive senior HR leadership experience, including at least 3 years in HR operations, program management, or strategic execution roles.
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional HR projects or initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, LMS, analytics tools) and Microsoft Excel or BI dashboards.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary of $155,000/yr-$170,000/yr
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Equity participation as approved by Board of Directors (4-year vesting schedule)
