ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

We’re looking for a part-time Program Coordinator, Sales Training and Professional Development to join our mission-driven sales training team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing Endologix’s North American medical education and training programs for physicians, field-based representatives, and other key stakeholders. This individual will help lead the design and delivery of high-quality device and therapy education initiatives, with a strong emphasis on training excellence and advanced clinical support.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Medical Education Strategy: In collaboration with the Sr. Director of HCP Engagement, Sales Training and Professional Development, execute and support training strategies to support the continued adoption of the current and future Endologix product portfolio, clinical application, indications, contraindications, warning and precautions, implant techniques and procedural troubleshooting working collaboratively with KOLs and subject matter experts.
  • Sales Force Product Certification Documentation: Assist the Sales Training team responsible for credentialing and certification of field-based clinical specialists, account managers, and distributors with the objective of managing the documentation process to ensure we have adequate records on file.
  • Professional Education and Sales Training Support: Work in conjunction with Sales Training and Professional Education teams to support logistics for events: Summit Educational events, Sales Training/Onboarding programs, Bootcamps, Trade Show Educational events, etc. Oversee strategic planning, execution and support.
  • Physician Education Certification and Payment Documentation: Assist with the responsibilities for the Endologix physician product training certification process and documentation of all training records; Create, maintain, education, enforce, and update respective training SOPs, DOPs, SOSs, and respective forms.
  • Training Tools Management: Assist with managing the tools and resources for both the Commercial team and Physician Education. Will work cross functionally to support these efforts. 
  • Compliance: Assure that all department activities and content for which it is responsible maintain strict adherence to all regulatory, field assurance, and compliance procedures and policies.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Possible, and minimal travel opportunities, including attendance at field-based training programs, endovascular symposia, and other business and industry-related events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

 

Education:

  • A four-year degree, or equivalent higher center qualification, preferably in a healthcare, engineering, or scientific discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant medical education experience in the medical device industry.
  • Vascular or endovascular industry experience a plus. Ideally with demonstrated clinical knowledge of endovascular aneurysm repair.
  • Knowledge of medical device industry and company products.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor training content according to adult learning principles.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases).
  • Knowledge and skill to articulate at the peer-to-peer level and convert scientific information in ready to use manner.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent communicator in written and spoken form, be a socially skilled and presentable manager with an air of confidence and organization that inspires his/her colleagues and serves to reflect the high standards of the organization.
  • Knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and device application.
  • Possess intrapersonal skills that will allow for adaption to specific, potentially challenging, scenarios.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
