ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Sales Training - EVAR to join our sales training organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing Endologix’s training programs for physicians, field-based representatives, and other key stakeholders. This role ensures that all programs uphold the highest standards of clinical integrity and reflect a “patient-first” philosophy.

 

The Manager brings strong clinical expertise in aortic therapies, paired with a deep understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles, to deliver effective and impactful training. Success in this position requires close cross-functional collaboration, alignment with Endologix’s strategic initiatives and business objectives, and active engagement with physicians and industry opinion leaders to advance the company’s mission and drive excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Onboarding and Clinical Case Support Training and Certification:
    • Lead New Hire Training Program and execution of the case support certification process.
    • Assess and certify field-based clinical specialists, and aortic account managers with the objective of independent case support and case planning.
    • Accountable for certification and documentation of all training records for field-based personnel with the objective of independent case support and case planning.
    • Ensure effective execution of all training programs utilizing instructional design techniques and appropriate measurements and feedback tools.
    • Develop and implement recertification program for sales and clinical specialist organization, as needed.
    • Considered to be the expert on aortic therapies and can address/advise on difficult and unexpected situations that may arise during certification cases.
    • Administration of written and oral exams and assessment of case management competencies.
    • Accountable for the development and oversight of the training program "Train-the-Trainer" for field sales trainers, clinical specialists, and anyone pertinent to product training plan.
  • Curriculum and Program Development:
    • Work cross functionally to develop content for Endologix product and procedure training, including product launches, best practices and continuous education.
    • Determine the need for learning continuums; deliver continuous improvement training on all Endologix product platforms, to include but not limited to annual certification testing, product refresh training and CAPA training.
    • Support development of content and programs to execute sales excellence and sales enablement training initiatives.
  • Physician Training and Certification:
    • Support the Director, Sales Training & Professional Education in the strategic planning and execution of product training programs for physicians, faculty and proctors.
    • Work cross functionally to develop and deliver physician education content.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Up to 50% travel, including attendance at endovascular procedures, field-based training programs, endovascular symposia, and other business and industry-related events.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

 

Education:

  • Minimum BS/BA degree, preferably in an allied health, engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of aortic endovascular experience.
  • 3+ years of industry clinical or sales support and instructional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant clinical, sales or product development experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate a clinical knowledge of endovascular aneurysm repair and peripheral vascular therapies.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of aortic therapies, including endovascular procedures and device technologies.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical concepts into clear, practical training content.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, surgical workflows, and industry best practices.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, effective training for diverse audiences (physicians, field reps, and internal stakeholders).
  • Skilled in curriculum development, e-learning, blended learning, and live training formats.
  • Experience with training technology platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Ability to align training programs with organizational strategy, business objectives, and product launches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate training effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Competence in developing metrics and KPIs for training program success.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional projects with marketing, R&D, clinical affairs, and sales teams.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with physicians, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills tailored to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Ability to deliver training in high-stakes environments with professionalism and confidence.
  • Skilled at facilitating discussions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to compliance, quality, and clinical integrity.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary $175,000yr-$200,000/yr
  • Discretionary bonus
