ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Executive Clinical Specialist to join our growing, mission-driven sales team at Endologix. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in transforming patient care. You’ll partner directly with physicians and the sales team to support successful stent graft procedures, serving as the go-to clinical expert in the field. You’ll provide real-time, technical guidance during cases, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and delivering unmatched value to our customers. As a trusted advisor in the OR and cath lab, you’ll be instrumental in driving adoption of Endologix innovative endovascular technologies, helping shape the future of vascular health.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide verbal technical assistance during implants.
  • Provide in-service support for physicians and hospital clinical staff.
  • Prepare EVAR case plans utilizing imaging studies (CT scans, angiograms).
  • Work with Customer Service to order appropriate devices for implants.
  • Ability to travel with minimal notice to support implants.
  • Coach and Mentor fellow Clinical Specialist Team members.
  • Provide leadership support within ACS Team as directed by Field Clinical Manager.
  • Independent procedural support of all commercial Endologix product lines including the most complex procedures.
  • Possess superior clinical knowledge of the Company’s products, their clinical applications, instructions for use, and procedural techniques.
  • Provide technical and educational training to physicians and staff on the use of the company’s products.
  • Utilize consultative approach to support physician and hospital usage of and commitment to the Endologix products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff in assigned accounts by providing a high level of service and responsiveness and by providing ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of Endologix products.
  • Participate in customer meetings, training meetings (internal and external) conferences and/or other relevant meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • 60% - 80% travel required.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Nursing degree preferred.
  • Technical training in applicable field.

Experience:

  • 5-8+ years of vascular interventional experience in OR, cath lab and/or specials.
  • 5+ years of industry clinical support experience.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff under pressure.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand sales objectives and collaborate with reps to meet case volume goals.
  • Comfortable supporting product education, demonstrations, and post-implant follow-up.
  • Experience translating clinical value into commercial impact.
  • Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, aortic disease, and endovascular procedures.
  • Experience supporting physicians in OR or cath lab environments.
  • Deep knowledge of stent graft systems and delivery mechanisms.
  • Ability to provide real-time, procedural technical support during implants.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary of $160,000/yr + commission
  • Equity participation as approved by Board of Directors (4-year vesting schedule)
