Supply Chain generalist role providing supply chain expertise to support Operations in achievement of Service, Financial, New Product Development, Continuous Improvement, and Quality/Compliance objectives and metric goals. Requires broad knowledge of the business and its objectives, with heavy emphasis on understanding and meeting both internal and external customer needs. Ensures that activities (material delivery, schedules, services and related resources) are well-planned and coordinated to support business needs. Performs complex analysis of supply chain data, draws appropriate conclusions, makes recommendations on organizational activities, and participates in implementation. Uses professional concepts and principles to achieve objectives in creative and effective ways. Ensures that activities are completed in compliance with company policies and department guidelines.
Minimum of seven-eight (7-8) years of related experience; medical device, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry knowledge a plus.
Experience should include all or several of the following areas: Supplier Management, Procurement, Production Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution and Logistics.
Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) or similar software.Working knowledge of quality system requirements and good manufacturing practices.
