    Under moderate supervision of the R & D staff, perform a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments to assure achievement of Endologix’s goals and objectives.


    • Assembles prototypes of design concepts.
    • Develop manufacturing instructions.
    • Conducts bench testing of designs and subcomponents. 
    • Executes test protocol in compliance with regulatory requirements. 
    • Performs limited trouble shooting of test equipment and calibrations of instruments. 
    • Maintains records of activities to comply with regulatory requirements. 
    • Test prototypes.
    • Records data and observations in lab notebook.
    • May manufacture device components per engineering drawings
    • May also perform assembler duties in a Pilot Plant environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.



    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    • Minimal medical device experience….Three years of laboratory experience in a related industry or field.  Experience with record keeping and
      documentation. Familiar with plastics, metals, and adhesives. Familiar with general test equipment. Medical device experience preferred.
