    This position is responsible for the general maintenance of the facility. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.



    Major Duties:
    • Provide clean room maintenance and cleaning on a weekly/monthly/as needed basis as required. Will insure good housekeeping practices are followed.
    • Will perform general maintenance activities i.e. performing full janitorial services, changing light bulbs, fixing/assembling furniture, fixing locks, etc.
    • Will handle and dispose of properly hazardous materials as needed in the course of job.
    • May participate in the company Safety Committee representing the facilities department. Members of the evacuation and MERT teams.       Trained to administer first-aid, CPR, and ADE (automated external defibrillators) devices.
    • May assist with recreation, quarterly breakfast, and lunch coordination.
    • Maintenance of shop and janitorial inventories and ordering supplies.
    • Perform monthly preventative maintenance and equipment inspections. Will troubleshoot and fix equipment as trained.
    • Processes and coordinates all internal facilities requests (cubicle/office set up, furniture acquisition, conference room set ups. 
    • Responsible for other services that may be needed by the company. 




    • Perform testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair to, manufacturing and laboratory equipment and process tools.
    • Perform general maintenance and repair to facility fixtures as appropriate.
    • Perform, and repair on a variety of shop equipment as appropriate.
    • Use electrical hand tools and various other hand tools.
    • May suggest design changes, tests methods and electrical schematics on new assignments and may provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel.
    • Identify and maintain all preventative maintenance component inventories.
    • Orders sufficient tooling for fabrication and facility requirements including, equipment and raw materials and supplies.
    • Assemble prototype devices, test equipment, and tooling according to verbal and/or written specifications.
    • Complete projects in a manner consistent with corporate objectives.
    • Proactively communicate process problems to management.
    • Maintain good knowledge of current process methods, documentation and procedures
    • Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, GMP practices, and FDA regulations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor



    • High School Diploma, AA degree or equivalent experience


    • 3+ years work experience

    Equipment Use & Abilities Required:


    Equipment Use:   Copy machines, fax machines, calculators and personal computers and computer terminals. Test and measurement equipment, manual and powered hand tools associated with equipment repair and general facility maintenance. May be required to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, pry bards, etc.

    Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations.   Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
