    Job Scope:

    Lead company efforts specific to the management of business and achievement of strategic account objectives for named IDN and GPO Customers.


    • Establish, drive and grow professional relationships with key personnel in select customer accounts.
    • Develop and maintain contract strategies for select customer accounts.
    • Establish creative value-add strategies for sales growth for select customer accounts.
    • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including sales and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
    • Continuously maintain high competency of effective pricing strategies, including price justification and negotiations.
    • Manage and update Special Pricing Agreements and Customer Contract Agreements.
    • Develop and maintain an inclusive work culture by training and motivating colleagues at all levels
    • Provide guidance and direction to team members to assist in their professional development


    Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    Minimum Experience:


    • 3 Minimum 3 years of experience directing customer engagement, contract negotiations, pricing strategies and/or key accounts;
    • Minimum 7 years of experience as a regional sales manager; and,
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the medical device industry

    Equipment Use & Abilities Required:


    Equipment Use: Copy machines, fax machines, calculators and personal computers and computer terminals.

    Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations.   Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.  

    Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to use judgment and apply technical knowledge on majority of routine functions.
