    Supply Chain generalist role providing support for Operations in achievement of Service, Financial, New Product Development, Continuous Improvement, and Quality/Compliance objectives and metric goals.  Strong emphasis on understanding and meeting internal and external customer needs.  Ensures that activities (materials, services, and related resources) are coordinated to support business needs. 


    • Responsibilities are typically of low to moderate scope & complexity.  These include duties in one or more of the following supply chain functions:  Procurement, Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution, and Logistics.
    • Maintains ERP system forecast according to the master schedule and individual market needs.  Updates ERP system parameters for new items to ensure that procurement and planning requirements are accurately calculated.
    • Analyzes MRP requirements, places new material orders, and monitors status of outstanding orders.  Informs management of potential shortages or issues.
    • Builds positive supplier relationships, and works to resolve issues (design changes, material shortages, capacity constraints, etc.) to minimize or avoid negative impact to ongoing production.
    • Collaborates with and provides supply chain support to New Product teams.
    • Coordinates placement of purchase orders requested throughout organization for outside goods and services unrelated to raw material inventory.  Communicates status and follows up as necessary.
    • Monitors finished good warehouse inventory and maintains appropriate inventory levels through distribution planning for U.S. and European locations.
    • Interfaces with Production, Quality Control, and Finance in the accurate and effective closure of work orders.
    • Participates in multi-functional team problem solving related to the ERP system.
    • Assists warehouse team in resolution of inventory and purchase order discrepancies.
    • Compiles data, analyzes, and reports on various metrics as requested by management.
    • Facilitates sterilization load requests via purchase order and monitors load status and release timing.
    • Interfaces with Finance on standard costing as well as manufacturing process cost and scrap rates.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


    • Knowledge of QAD purchasing, inventory management, and transactional entries preferred
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)    


    • High School Diploma required, Bachelors Degree with Finance background preferred


    • 2-3 years experience in manufacturing operations or materials preferred
    • MRP/ERP System experience required
