    Assist in the administration, implementation and support of the Human Resources Department day-to-day operations and initiatives. Provide customer service support to client groups and employees.

    Responsibilities

    • Comply with Endologix’s policies, procedures, and quality standards as well as safety and environmental regulations.
    • Coordinate HR programs such as Onboarding, New Hire Orientation and benefit programs such as LOA (Leave of Absences) and Workers Compensation.
    • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons.
    • Record and update employee information/files in HRIS to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other company uses.
    • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Prepare employment-related documentation and notices.
    • Summarize and disseminate Exit Interview findings.
    • Manage and track off-site HR records.
    • Assist employees with benefit issues and concerns.
    • Benefits administration - medical, dental, vision, and voluntary plans including life, AD&D, disability and 401k.
    • Ensures the accuracy of benefit enrollments with carriers and/or in HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
    • Partners with brokers and coordinates all aspects of the open enrollment process.
    • Performs invoice reconciliation, billing and process invoices.
    • Manage the Harassment Training Portal.
    • Provide back-up support at the Front Desk.
    • Provide general administrative support as needed.
    • Serve as an initial contact to answer HR policy-related questions.
    • Continuously update knowledge of California Labor Laws and regulations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Equipment Use & Abilities Required:

     

     

    Equipment Use:   Copy machines, fax machines, calculators and personal computers and computer terminals.

    Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations.   Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:

     

    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to move within and between the buildings. A computer terminal is used to access, input, and retrieve data. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

    Qualifications

    Education:

     

    High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or business from a four-year college or university preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Experience:

     

    Four years of related work experience in Human Resources with High School diploma or equivalent; Two years of related work experience in Human Resources with a Bachelor’s degree.
