    Responsible for all of the Company’s digital marketing activities, including social media execution, to drive marketing initiatives. Develops and aligns digital marketing plans per the annual marketing calendar and marketing plans—executes all digital strategies and tactics; then leads the implementation and follow-up, including effectiveness measurement post deployment. Has strong collaboration and leadership skills to effectively work with global sales and marketing counterparts. Must have a very hands-on approach to the business and be highly accountable for results.


    • Drives all the digital/social components of the marketing calendar;

    • Leads the collection of content to drive the company’s content marketing engine per the marketing calendar;

    • Creates SEO (search engine optimization) and SEM (search engine marketing) plans to drive the company’s brands and campaigns;

    • Expertly drives placement of company initiatives on affiliate sites as necessitated by the strategy (WebMD, Mayo Clinic, etc.);

    • Cultivates the social media space (twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, et al) to drive brand and campaign awareness;

    • Works with sales and marketing leadership to understand needs and develop creative digital programs and initiatives to achieve defined objectives;

    • Perpetuates key message transmission via all digital channels through partnership with industry key opinion leaders;

    • Identifies and leads third party resources to deliver the digital marketing plans;

    • Pulls resources together from across the company, including third party resources (PR et al), to bring initiatives to fruition,

    • Follows Corporate and Regulatory guidelines regarding the approval of Marketing Materials (MM’s) using the MasterControl system;

    • Educates and employs company personnel to perpetuate company content as a force multiplier in marketing plans;

    • In conjunction with the Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications, developments and aligns the Endologix social media policy across the company—works with the Compliance Team to educate and train company personnel in the proper use of social media;

    • Manages the digital marketing budget within overall operating budgets;

    • Performs all digital marketing effectiveness testing and analytics;
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to build social media networks;

    • Serves as the company’s subject matter expert on all things related to digital marketing and social media marketing—key interfaces are 360 degree in nature to include Executive Staff as well as Field Execution personnel.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.



    • Extensive Digital Marketing Planning, Execution, and Measurement;

    • Excellent presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Customer service orientation required;

    • Knowledge of health care and medical device industry preferred;                                                                                                                                                                                    

    • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to the management team and board of directors;

    • Good clinical acumen and ability conduct tabletop demonstrations and articulate technical attributes.                                                                                                                                                                                        



    Minimum Education:


    Minimum BS/BA degree


    Minimum Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 – 8+ years of hands-on, dedicated, digital marketing experience including social media management. (Masters may substitute for one year of experience, PhD or MD may substitute for two years of experience).
    • Individually led multiple digital marketing campaigns with proven successful outcomes;

    • Portfolio of digital achievements. This must be shared in the course of the interview process.
