    Responsible for all global and regional marketing strategies and tactical plans for the EVAS product lines and supporting clinical studies for the AAA (Abdominal Aortic Repair) market. Leads development and guides new innovation in conjunction with R&D. Works collaboratively with Regional Marketing Management and Sales Leadership to develop regional strategies and tactics then deploys the marketing execution. Has strong collaboration and leadership skills to effectively manage cross-functional initiatives. Must have a very hands-on approach to the business and be highly accountable for results. Will develop excellent, in-depth knowledge of the Endologix EVAS products, history and programs and achieve a deep level of clinical knowledge to be viewed as a resource by our customers, executive staff, our sales team, and internal employees. Leads the EVAS Marketing Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Delivers the annual forecast for EVAS products, globally;
    • Develops the EVAS product strategy and works closely with R&D to develop product map and to identify product requirements;
    • Lead the content delivery engine for Field Sales deployments comprised of compelling news, data, and events to drive brand preference
    • Facilitates the collection of information and documents to support customer requirements for all development projects and provides analysis to prioritize development projects for R&D and Regulatory/Clinical;
    • Responsible for leading Commercialization efforts and overall coordination of all commercial-related activities;
    • Develops and communicates annual marketing plans and works closely with Sales and Regional Marketing Management to develop sales plans and forecasts for new products;
    • Conducts market research as necessary to gather design input, market trends, competitive activity, customer perspectives, test messaging, position brands, etc.;
    • Collaborates with Medical Affairs to establish a robust clinical and publication strategy;
    • Develops comprehensive Global and Regional Marketing Communications plans;
    • Develops and manages product line marketing budgets within overall operating budgets.
    • Gathers, analyzes and prepares information about the market(s), growth rates, pricing, competitions, reimbursement, emerging technologies, etc.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
    • Prepares detailed new product launch plans, which include positioning, clinical data, selling tactics, forecasting, pricing, reimbursement, promotional programs, press releases, sales training, physician training, etc. Develops digital and social media plans as part of aggregated marketing plans;
    • Executes new product launch plans in the regions and works with Regional Marketing partners where available;
    • Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications.
    • Represents marketing group on cross-functional teams interfacing with product development, production and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 to 10 years of medical device marketing experience—must have previously served in a Marketing Director role;
    • Peripheral vascular or cardiovascular device experience highly desirable;
    • Prior clinical experience or operation room catheter lab experience desirable;
    • Individually led multiple successful new product launches.
